Madhuri Dixit

Madhuri dixit is an acclaimed Indian actress best known for her roles in Hum Aapke Hain Koun. In the 1980s, she began her acting career. She became famous for her role as Tezaab which she played alongside an established actor Anil Kapooor. Next, she appeared with Aamir on Dil. Born into a middle-class family in Mumbai she began learning to dancing at a young age. When she was still in high school, she attempted acting, but the majority of those early films did not succeed. Her fame grew and she became one of the top film actresses. Following her marriage she had an absence from the industry before returning to the industry. In the past, she was an integral character in the film Gulaab Gang which was about the struggles of women in India. Dixit is nominated to win 15 Filmfare Awards, out of which she took home eight. Padma Shri - the fourth most prestigious civilian award of India is awarded to Dixit. She is known for her charitable work as well.
