Christopher Robert Evans, born on June 13, 1981 is an American actress. He began his acting career as a character actor in television series including Opposite Sexual Sex in the year 2000. Following appearances in several film for teens, such as 2001's Not Another Teen Movie he gained attention for his portrayal of the Marvel Comics character, the Human Torch in 2005's Fantastic Four and the sequel Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007). Evans appeared in several films that adapted comics and graphic novels such as TMNT (2007) Scott Pilgrim and the World vs. the World (2009) as well as Snowpiercer (2013). The character of Steve Rogers as Captain America was featured is in the Marvel Cinematic Universe films Captain America: The First Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014, 2015), Captain America: Civil War (2016) and Avengers: Infinity War (2018) as well as Endgame 2019 brought him greater acceptance. His role in the Marvel series made him one of the highest paid actors.
